Hermann Lofts

2 exteriorOriginally built in 1917, Hermann Lofts was one of the original Houston loft conversion projects first opening its doors to residents in 1997. The 32-unit downtown loft building was named after the great Houston philanthropist George Henry Hermann. It was last used on a full-time basis as a headquarters for the Salvation Army. The 8-story, yellowish-brick building has a green cast-iron canopy covering the entire front sidewalk and numerous details dating back to the building’s original form. Hermann Lofts is featured on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hermann Lofts boast 10- and 11-foot concrete ceilings, wide-open floor plans, and hardwood floors. Loft units range in size from 675 square feet to 2,000 square feet. Hermann Lofts also features an exquisite rooftop terrace, reserved parking spaces for residents, and storage units.

The lofts are located at 204 Travis Street one block from Market Square in the heart of Downtown Houston’s famed historic district. They are within blocks of all major downtown attractions like the Theatre District and sports arenas and steps away from top quality Houston restaurants, exciting nightlife and casual cafes.
